Notes from our journal - Our dyes
Our luxurious cashmere is kind to your skin and to nature.
Our journey begins with the vision of a better, kinder world. As creators of luxury cashmere garments, it is our responsibility to protect our natural world and the people we share this delicate ecosystem with.
Combined with a desire to build our brand on respect, kindness and ecological responsibility, we act with integrity at each stage of production and that includes our use of dyes. We know the impact of toxic chemicals used in conventionally dyed clothing on our skin, our health but also to the planet and our soil.

We find the rhythms of the natural world endlessly inspiring. Our colour palettes speak of fresh beginnings, a quiet beauty and the promise of renewal so it's only right that our dye methods respect this fragile balance.
We partner with a world class cashmere spinner who share our vision and commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. We only use their Royal Cashmere which is of superior quality. So you can be assured of not only the consistent high quality of our yarn and our dyes but also the legitimacy of the production methods involved.
We offer three levels of dye options in our collections for you to choose from:
Dye free - For the ultimate in softness and sustainable luxury

Our dye free pieces use a delicate blend of three natural tones of cashmere, giving us a palette of the softest neutrals from creamy whites to soft earthy browns. We use only the essential processes of blending, carding and spinning for these shades, so they are pollutant free, fully biodegradable and of supreme sustainable quality.
By choosing our un-dyed cashmere pieces you can trust you are being fully kind to your skin and to nature.
Available in selected daywear & loungewear styles. You'll find these styles on our dye free collection page.
Botanical dyes – For the purest chemical free colour for cashmere.

These delicate shades have botanical origins - herbs, flowers, wood, roots, leaves and petals such as indigo, marigold, pomegranate and rhubarb create a palette of natural hues. Our yarn is infused with these colours without the use of chemicals at any stage of the dyeing process, meaning our Botanica styles use the most environmentally kindest colour available.

Non-toxic dyes approved and certified to an Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Our remaining pieces are coloured with dyes certified to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. This certification sets the benchmark for reducing negative chemical impact during the production process and certifying that these colours are safe to wear.
Additionally our yarn spinner has an ISO14001 certification. This is a voluntary and internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management systems which improves resource efficiency, reduces waste and improves overall environmental impact meaning not just that these dyes are non toxic but the processes involved in dying has reduced impact on the environment.
